what backup software is available for this drive? It does not seem to be supported by wd backup

Unfortunately, WD Elements is not supported by WD Backup.
Anyways, you can use Windows backup and restore in order to backup your computer to the WD Elements.
I have wd elements 1tb but how do you use it to backup more than 1 computer? thanks

Well, you can create the backup on the other computer in the same way you did on the previous computer without any issue.
