My Wd element 3TB doesn’t appears in The backup program from Wd, My Wd passport 2TB doen appears. WHY?

WD Backup does not support the WD Elements product family at the time of this post.

is there a backup program for free that works with WD elements product family?

WD SmartWare and WD Backup are free for the WD My Book and WD My Passport product family.

For the WD Elements, you can use Windows Backup from the control panel or any other 3rd party backup solution that supports USB drives.
