I have my WDMyCloud set up and have backed up my Windows 7 desktop and laptop using SmartWare. I have downloaded the MyCloud apps for the iPad and Android phone and activated both and see the WDMyCloud directories and access files from the iPad and phone. How do I BACK UP the iPad and Android phone to the WDMyCloud instead of using the iPad iCloud and phone cloud storage?
go to the folder on the mycloud where you want the files, select the icon with 3 vertical dots (Android), then upload and choose what to backup
the WD photo app can be set to backup pictures automatically but it will only go to the public folder which I don’t use
