i’ve not seen a description how to manage the back up from my iPhone to My Cloud and the way to read the SMS from back up on My Cloud to my PC (windows 7).
You can use the WD Mobile app for iOS to backup your photos to the My Cloud.

To backup other information/data from the My Cloud would require using a third party app. You’d have to search through the Apple Store to find an app that meets the backup features you need. Further you may not be able to backup remotely with third party apps.
