Apps Stuck in Update Status

  • Uninstalled and Removed WD Discovery and all install apps from Windows 10 PC
  • Downloaded WD Backup, Drive Utilities, Security from support.wdc.com and installed.
  • Installed WD Discovery and reboot the PC when prompt
  • Clicked Update
  • Clicked YES at the prompt but WD Discovery Apps are stuck on Update status
  • Rebooted the PC and WD Discovery Apps still say Update
  • Opened WD Backup and it is not the same version downloaded from support.wdc.com
