Admin username/password lost for Administrator tool (and RED light blinking problem)

Hi,

when I have bought WD ShareSpace 8TB I’ve set it up & used it for some almost a year without a need to enter into the Administrator area & sort out anything. Unfortunately since yesterday, one of the HDD LEDs lights constantly in AMBER color & the tick LED sign is blinking RED! I wanted to enter to Administrator tool in order to check the status of the DiscNo1 (showing Amber on the LEDs) but I have realized that I am unable to remeber whihc Admin Username & Password I have used for this since I have obviously changed the original ADMIN / ADMIN combination.
Question is: Does anyone knows if the reset button at the back of WD ShareSpace will reset ONLY the admin u/n & p/w or it will delete all the data on my WD ShareSpace? I cannot risk loosing the photos that I’ve been shooting (as a professional photographer) in last 2 years which are only backed up on this NAS unit!!! 

Please help if you know.

Misko, the reset button will only reset the Device name, IP Settings, and Administrator Password. This is better explained in the following article:
