8TB My Book high idle temperature

Got my 8TB My Book a couple of days ago and noticed my idle temperature is 44°.

I’ve got an older Buffalo external drive on the same desk running at 34°, a full 10 degrees lower.

Temps measured with CrystalDiskInfo. Is this normal?
