I purchased an EX4100 at auction with four Red 2TB drives. One of the drives fails self test but I managed to set 2 x 2TB as Spanning. As I need 4TB total as RAID 1 I took two 4TB Red Drives from a Dlink Sharecentre DNS320L NAS both working fine. When I put them in the EX4100 they pass self tests but when I try to configure them in any mode the GUI says it is partitioning and never ends and the EX4100 becomes unresponsive until I reset the power. I put the 2 drives back in Dlink NAS and all my data is still there so the EX4100 has done nothing to them. Any help suggestions welcome.
