Hello all,
I have some quick questions.
I have a USB external 1TB HDD, it is the My book essential 2.0, I use windows XP on both of my laptops.
(The writes on the my HDD is kind of slow by the way).
I thought about buying a ReadyNAS or WHS but I read that the 4K sector are being a problem with the current hardware out there, especially the new 2TB HDD being sold by WD (eco friendly disks).
My Question is:
Am I going to have the same alignment problem with my current HDD (1TB)?
How to fix this, if I need to fix it?
I have no partitions.
