2tb elements external problem please help

Hi,

I took the power cable out of my 2tb elements external hard drive while tidying cables around my desktop pc. It was showing before this.

I then set up my HD, other hd and printer. Everything else is working but my 2tb HD.

When I turn the power on it’s light flashes once and then goes off. It does this everytime with it’s own power cable and I’ve tried another cable I have for a 1tb WD HD. 

Does anyone know what’s wrong with it?

Is it fixable?

Should I just get the data recovered?(Photo’s/scan pics of my 1yr son and imminently arriving son)

Hello,

Please make sure the power adapter is plugged in directly into the wall outlet. Try another power adapter of the same model if possible. Also if you may please try it on another computer.
