WD 2 tb i use on 3 computers pc and mac
in windows PC drive will not show . In management section drive is visible
properties drive is fine.
in Mac drive is visible. displays not initialized
When did this issue start to happen? An I/O error usually indicates an interface (Connector) issue. Did you try replacing the USB cable?
Yes tried new cable
3 different cables and different computers
If so, then unfortunately the hard has failed and should be replaced under warranty.
