1-week old WD Blue 1TB --> 8 bad sectors & 10 weak sectors

What happens with this drive .  I bought it new, still sealed.

1 week after use, I found 8 bad sectors & 10 pending weak sector. 

The computer never crashed or anything during the whole week.

I have used several WD Greeen & other drives, but I’ve never experienced like this.

Geez, I still have 5-year old 500GB IDE drive in the same computer, and it shows  0 bad sectors.

Is RMA applicable at this moment ?

As a recommendation, test the unit using the WD Dlg tool. If it fails the test, contact WD Support directly for assistance.
