We’re attempting to connect our My Cloud PR2100 to a new Windows 11 Home laptop and are getting the error message “Windows cannot access hostname” with 0x80070035 The network path was not found. The NAS was previously connected to the old W11 Home laptop.
Our troubleshooting has included the following:
1-- changed the SMB settings to 1.0 on laptop and on NAS, and
2-- have confirmed that all of the associated services are running and set to Automatic, and
3-- network sharing has been configured.
Also, Windows is up to date and the NAS is running the latest version of firmware.
We’d appreciate any guidance in getting the PR2100 connected. Thank you!
