Help Please. I bought new PC and it has Win 11. I bought a new WD My Book. No LED light installed to indicate it’s working…Grrr. Win 10 worked so easily but Win 11 seems incompatible with My Book. I can’t figure out how to see my files or whether or not they have been backed up. Any suggestions?

To resolve your issue make sure your WD is connected to your Windows 11 PC. Check disk management to see if it’s recognized and assign a drive letter if needed. Open Device Manager for driver issues and update if necessary. Install the latest software from the WD Support website. Ensure Windows 11 is updated via Settings > Windows Update. If the drive isn’t recognized, test it on another PC. If still unresolved, try using WD Utilities from the WD website for diagnostics
