I can no longer access my WD-My Cloud EX2 Dashboard and one suggestion was to ‘Power Cycle’ the unit. Before I do I have a question:
Will ‘Power Cycling’ my WD-My Cloud EX2 create any data loss?
Also, please provide any proper procedures to perform the ‘Power Recycle’. Thanks!
the EXT is in a differnt forum, this is basic mycloud
In general it should be a last resort
if it is like the basic mycloud then if you can’t reach the dashboard for an extented time period pulling the plug is the only option. Data lose is alway possiabe but unlikley however depending on the current state it could take a very long time to check the disks and boot
