Why has my western digital icon (WD) in the “Show Hidden icons” on the task bar disappear to? Before when I wanted to safely close down my WD “My Book” I would left click on the “Show Hidden Icons” then right click on the WD icon to safely close it down. My icon is no longer there, the only thing there is an icon with green circle with a white (√) on it, and the message “safety remove hardware and eject media”. The “My Book” is in grey, meaning it’s not working. Please advise, why has the Western Digital icon vanished, and how do I get it back?
