Hi everyone,
My external hard drive has stopped powering up (the white light does not start flashing) once I plug in both the data cable into my MacBook and the power cable into the outlet. I have tried disconnecting the cables and restarting the MacBook, as well as trying to press the power button on the hard drive but have had no luck. The light would flash for a fraction of a second once I unplugged the power cable from the outlet, but it does not do that anymore. I tried using a new data cable and that hasn’t helped either. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions that might remedy my situation? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
