Please… I dont want to spend more money in another WD media **bleep**. What about the new MKVs versions and the problems whit the audios in several codec’s, and the menu support for DVD an Bluray ISO.

You posted in the wrong forum.   But the WDTV Gen 1 has been “End of Lifed.”   I doubt you’ll see ANY new firmware releases for it.
