I’m having problems using my WDTV Live to access live TV with a HDHomeRun Prime. It used to work flawlessly going to Video, accessing the HDHR via DLNA and launching the channel in either SD or HD.
Now every time I try to play any of the channels, I get an error saying “Unable to play the selected file. Please see the User Manual for a list of supported file formats.”
I’m not sure whether something changed with the HDHR and the way it delivers the content or if something else is broken but it’s frustrating knowing it used to work and now doesn’t :cry:
I was on the latest firmware with the WDTV, then rolled back to 2.01.86 and still got no luck … I’m not sure whether it was a HDHR update that broke playback, or a WDTV update that broke it (I’m thinking it has to be the HDHR because I don’t recall ever having a problem with any of the WDTV firmwares I’ve used). Streaming from the HDHR works fine on every other device I’ve used, it just suddenly stopped on the Live.
Any insight anyone might be able to offer would be great … Thanks!
