I’ve two mac.
An older mac with OS 10.5.8 Leopard and it’s good
And an Macpro with Yosemite and it’s BAD!
No sharing file Mac
No sharing file Linux
Only multimedia server works
I am really heartbroken. I ask that WD help me or I want my money back!
Unfortunately, with Mac OS 10.7 and later Apple decided to permanently changed how networking behaves with non-Apple devices. This is not a WD-specific issue and affects 2011-based devices.
In order to use your WD TV you will need to either continue to use DLNA Media Servers, or use NFS (Linux) shares for direct access. Instructions are available in the following link:
