Stuck on v04.01.02-417, it tells me that a new version is available and that I can download it, I have tried both automatically and manually, neither works ?.
I also get an error when I try and put my email address
Any ideas ?

Are you downloading the firmware from here?

Latest version is 04.05.00-342 for the 1st generation WD MY CLOUD.
First I tried with the update now as per the screen shot, and it all downloads then says it’s installing, and reboots, but the old firmware remains the same, it hasn’t updated.
I tried several times, I even factory reset it, so and tried again, I then tried manually downloading and applying the firmware. Same thing.
