wdbabv5000abk light is always on but not recognized by my pc

 wdbabv5000abk light is always on but not recognized by my pc.

When I connect it it blinks for 3 times but it I see no hope in getting it work.

Previously I could hold the usb cable in a certain way so that it works, but not anymore

So my questions is: does blinking for 3 times have any special meaning?

Any general solution?

Hello omidreza, welcome to the WD Community. If you previously had problems with the USB cable I recommend you to try using another one. Be sure to connect the USB cable directly to the USB port, avoid using USB extension cables or USB hubs.

Unfortunately, using other USB cables does do any good.

it worths mentioning that I can feel that the hard drive spins.
