Hello,
I just bought a new drive WD40EFAX WD RED 4TB and after connecting it to the pc is unrecognizable and it makes a weird noise on boot, I also have this error pic. Another drive on these same sata cables works fine. Any suggestions?

Hi @isee, To initialize or write a signature to a secondary hard drive in Windows, Please refer to the KBA below: https://supporten.wd.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/18824

Also, current drive technology dictates that some noise will occur during normal drive operation. The type and volume of noise is dependent on whether the is drive performing a read/write operation or idle with the heads parked.
