I’m a relative newbie.

What are the advantages to the new 1.01.17 upgrade?

Is it stable?

When are we going to have menu capability for the first generation player?

Hey MarnGar,

The 1.01.17 firmware update is for the WD TV Live.  It can’t be used on the 1st Gen WDTV player.

The latest firmware for your hardware is1.03, which you already have.  Keep an eye on the following page for future updates:
