WD Sync seems to be creating duplicate time-stamped files

Yes, I have noticed this issue too. There is a long line of issues. Read these other threads to understand the bigger issue.

WD Sync is not syncing as expected

@snakedoctorunit Before reformatting my computer, I was using WD Sync for 1.5 months without too much trouble. Just today I got it working again, so hopefully it will be fine for a long time to come. Some strange troubles that I have seen with WD Sync is the creation of extra duplicate files with the date-stamp. ie. An original file named bicycle.jpg and then a file named bicycle 2015-11-06 01 22 45.jpg. Don’t know why this happens.

"WDMyCloud is Missing" in WD Sync -- Won't Synchronize

I just installed WD Sync today in hopes that I would be able to use it to remotely synchronize my laptop with MyCloud. To be clear, my laptop is with me in one state, and my MyCloud device is at my home in another state (so they are not on the same network). Yet when I specify sync folders, and then look at the menu for WD Sync, I see the message below indicating that WDMyCloud is missing, and it does not appear to be syncing (even though I have the option to pause). Does anyone know what’s go…
