WD Sync Discontinued?

I have a MyCloudEX2Ultra connected to my windows 10 desktop. I have been using it to sync folders from my Desktop Computer the the MyCloudEX2Ultra. This is intended to keep an back up set of files. I have always used WD Sync for this.

I just updated to OS 5 firmware and now WD Sync no longer works. I called WD support and the tech told me WD Sync has been discontinued and I should use Google Sync. I looked into Google sync and it has been discontinued and it appears what I should use now is Google Drive for Desktop.

I have downloaded that and installed it but I am not able to figure out the correct way to configure it. Right now I can see in Google Drive My Computer and I can see the MyCloudEX2Ultra (including all the files on it form most recent sync.

I cannot figure out to configure the Google Drive to sync files from my Desktop the MyCloudEX2Ultra in the same way WD Sync used to work. any help most appreciated.
