When I try to upgrade my WD SmartWare software to the Pro version I go to the activation screen and enter my license and email and I get an error that states "No internet access detected. Please check your internet connection and try again. Running WD SmartWare 2.4.16
I suggest you uninstall and reinstall WD SmartWare, and also verify your network connection. If you can do it wired instead of wireless, that would be best.
I have deleted, reinstalled. Also did a full factory reset on MyCloud device. Also confirmed I can ping and traceroute all related WD sites. Several calls to WD to no avail. About to switch to a supported product.
Most of the times is related with antivirus or firewall blocking the access to the license verification server.
