Upgrade to WD SmartWare Pro does not work

Had to reinstall software. Get a message Upgrade to WD SmartWare Pro by selecting Activate. Selecting Activate does nothing.

The link says WD Smartware can no longer be upgraded to WD Smartware Pro. but Western Digital has left the upgrade in the software. The solution is to ignore the WD Smartware Pro upgrade notice.
