WD Security and WD Discovery not working properly


I have a WD My Passport which refuses to show up on any WD app, including Security and Discovery but is detected fine by Windows 7. As the drive is password protected, this is annoying. Furthermore, every time the PC boots up, the WD Unlocker does not automatically start as well. I need to manually disconnect and reconnect the USB cable to the drive for this to work. This is becoming a chore.

All software and firmware is up to date, according to itself - screenshots attached.

I would be thankful for any help in resolving this.
