Hi I have bought a brand new drive but when I fitted it into my docking station nothing
I have looked in diskpart in dos still nothing
Disk management does not show it either.
I downloaded wd utilities but it just waits for the drive to be connected,
The drive is spinning I can hear that
I have plugged the usb docking station into another pc but still nothing
Please can someone help me
I don’t have the facility to plug it direct into motherboard as I use a laptop
It shows 512 with dos also
Are you sure your docking station supports drives that big? Only a few do. My oldest one won’t work with drives larger than 2TB; my newest only supports up to 4TB.
