I normally upload photos every few weeks to my 2TB MyCloud. But lately photos haven’t been going over to the WD Photo app. I read a few threads about transcoding but I feel there has been ample time for this to occur Also, tried clear the cache in the iphone settings, this did nothing for me. I uploaded a few hundred photos at the end of November and they still don’t show in the WD Photos app. Any suggestions?
Are these pictures displayed in the WD My Cloud app? Was the media server disabled (This affects transcoding)?
I contacted WD Technical Support. On the MyCloud dashboard the content scan had been stuck for a while also (at least a week). The tech had me reboot the drive and when it restarted it rescanned the drive and now all the photos are in the WD Photos app. Problem resolved.
