WD Passport not recognized by Acronis True Image

hi, I hope someone can help me.

Although the WD Passport is recognized by Windows and I can write on the drive, Acronis True Image does not recognize the device, so from one to the other day I cannot mak backups of my computer to the drive anymore. I have tried to install Acronis again, but it does not work. I also formatted the drive, didn’t work either. What else can I do?

NB: I have two passport drives, both passports have the same problem. so it is not due to the harddrive or a broken cable. the problem seems to lie in Acronis.

I saw a topic of 5 years ago with exactly the same question, however, not provided with an accurate answer.
