Acronis True Image software not recognizing drive

I just bought a new Passport drive WDBPKJ0050BBK-WESN. The software does not recognize that the drive is connected nor does it see my older My Book drive. Any suggestion on how to get this software to see at least the newer drive?

There might be an issue with the drive. Most of the time, the error message “Access is Denied” indicates that there is some problem with the hard drive, which has made the hard drive inaccessible. Here, I suggest you to check the below link which explains the methods to fix the Access is Denied issue:

If needed, you can also switch to Stellar Data Recovery Professional software to create a disk image and perform data recovery.
