I have had my WD (My Book) external drive for a couple of years and have not had any problems with it. The day i decided to back it up on another drive it stopped working altogether. The power pack indicator is working but the box is not turning powering up. is there a way to save all my data from off of this?
If not showing on the computer only other way is removing from enclosure ( voids warranty ) and connecting to a PC direct
you can try with a data recovery specialist as well
