That‘s really not true looking at all the latest posts in this forum including my situation. Also the instructions in the link have been shown to not work and WD does currently nothing. My support ticket remained unanswered since a week.

Yes, and the Support is really being useless. Opened a support ticket giving the Logs, my e-mail address for the account and the device ID. What was the reply? Instruction links and the request to send the e-mail address, device ID and the logs. Never ever experienced such a terrible customer experience.
