Only new to NAS I have the my cloud PR4100 20TB
My problem is my plex app on tv doesn’t recognise my NAS drive that has the plex app on I’m able to view the drive thru finder on my Mac but seems the movie folder is no longer there how do I restore the movies folder from backup drive and does it sound like my NAS has died if my plex app on TV doesn’t recognise the NAS drive

Try to get the IP address of the pr4100 from the config GUI, then in your plex app there is an option to manually configure the IP address plex is running on…
If you want it browsable, then under Settings/network make sure the Workgroup is also “WORKGROUP”. …. Without the “
Local Master ON
SMB set to SMB2,SMB3
NT LAN Manager : NTLMv2 only
