From time to time, usually once per month, sometime more sometime less often, disk becomes inaccessible. I can’t access it not from Mac, not from PC or android or ios. I can’t even come to web ui. Works only ping and ssh access. If I turn power off and on, then works again. This is so frustrated because I never know if I would see the files on this network disk and if backups are made or not. Have any idea or would be solutions to change disk with other brand not like WD

What color is the light on the front of the drive when you are not able to access it from your computers?
Like I remember usually is green, but could also be blue, like that device can’t come from sleep. But I try also to turn off sleep function without any success.
It could be that the MBLD is overheating.
I run my MBLD with no sleeping. And i have two 80mm fans underneath it blowing air up through the enclosure to cool it. The cooling has made a huge difference. It used to get up to 55C in temps and then become unresponsive. Now it stays at 33C and never needs rebooting.
