I’m pretty clueless when it comes to computer-related issues so I’m hoping for your help!
My Laptop crashed a couple of weeks ago, so I sent it in to get fixed. There was a problem with the harddrive,so I lost all my data. Luckily enough I had done a backup a couple days before the incident on the My Passport Ultra. I have received my laptop and it is working again, but I am not sure how to access all the backup files on My Passport Ultra? If I use the WD Backup App, it says there are no files for recovery, however if I search through My Passport via ‘Copmuter’/like a USB-Stick (as I said, I’m not great with Computer-talk), I can find all my data. Do I simply copy and paste all the files to my computer? Or is there any other way that actully keeps the whole file structure, e.g. saves my ‘Downloads-Backup Files’ in my Download folder etc.
I’m very thankful for any help.
