WD my passport external hard drive cannot be recognized in Mac OS. Need help!

Hello, all:

I have a WD my passport 1TB external hard drive, which cannot be recognized in MacOS(10.15.7) yesterday (It was working fine before).

When it’s plugged with Mac, the indicate light is ON and the sound is about right.

Under Disk Utility, I cannot see this external hard drive. In terminal, when I typed diskutil list, I cannot see it either. Then I installed WD discovery app, the it recognized the hard drive as a ‘SES device’.

I have another external hard drive which is working fine on my Mac computer, and I checked the connecting cable, which is OK as well.

So I guess something is wrong with WD my passport. Any suggestions?
