WD My Passport cannot be read by DVD Players

I used to have a 500GB External Disc which worked fine with our DVD players. Now that I bought a new 3T one it cannot be read by neither DVD Players (Pioneer DV 2242 & LG Bly - Ray BP125) while USB sticks are still read. What can i do?

Tell Pioneer and LG to support GPT-formatted drives, which many 2TB and anything larger will need to use.
MBR format supports nothing larger than 2TB.

Another option which MIGHT work would be to reformat your 3TB drive using MBR in multiple partitions (each 2TB or smaller).
