Hello everyone, I own a WD My Passport 0830 with WD Apps Setup.exe and WD Apps for Windows folder which is containing folder named XP64 with wic_x64_enu and in the WD Apps for Windows are dotNetFx40_Client_x86_x64.exe

Ok, I’ve seen an YouTube! video that shows in 2 min how can I protect my WD My Passport 0830 with a password. My question is if I willing to do this my Smart T.V. will be able to pop up the password menu for opening the HDD?
The second question is how the files are protected by the password? It’s some kind of encryption process? And how long it takes to encrypt my files?
