WD My Book Essential 1 TB password issues

Dear Customer Servicce of WD

I ve a WD My Book essential 1 TB and it work fine for a while then suddenly i could not accces the harddisk anymore via smartware of WD   I get the message that my password is incorrecct. I know it sounds weird but I m sure the password is ccorrecct. I ve been browsing the internet and found out that many people run into the same problem with WD harddisks.

Could you please hel me out on this

Have you tried to connect the drive on a different computer to see if the password goes through?

I have the same problem with 4TB My Book. Sometimes the password hint is blank and somtimes my password hint is shown, but I’m never able to unlock the drive. It’s one month old now. I am also convinsed that I have the right password.
