My Book Essential 2TB has set password by itself!

Hi

I have an My Book Essential 2TB which has set its own password. I have installed the latest WD Smartware update which is meant to fix this but this hasn’t work. Can anyone help me please? Does anyone know how I can access my files?

About the only thing to try is use a different account like the Guest account or another computer. There is no reset for this.

Also WD Smartware keep saying drive discovering and its locked with 0% used.
