Hello!
A few weeks back I tried to write some things to my WD hard drive and it said that it couldn’t find the place where i was trying to move my files to. So I looked around on the forum and found that I should scan it, so I did. And it passed the SmartWare scan, but not the expanded Lifeguard one. It says that there are to many bad sectors, and then it stops. I read that if you have this problem your hard drive is probably dying… So I un-plugged it, because I don’t want to lose the data I already have on it.
The drive is just a few months old and I don’t want to plug it in to do more tests. I don’t want to lose the data on it.
Sincerely.
