HI. my external hdd case got damaged,its a WD MY BOOK 3T.The drive inside is fine,I took it out of the case and plug it direct onto my desktop,Its showing me three partitions,i did format the two but the third one can’t. i was thinking of using some recovery softwares after i format the drive,but it seems impossible.Is there any way i can recover my files? help

Since this drive comes with hardware encryption it would be very difficult if not almost impossible for a data recovery software to recover your files.
I recommend contacting a data recovery company in order to get assistance with that.
