How do you add a new app into the wd media player box. Trying to get Amazon Prime Video on because the Amazon Instant Video will not load. All it does is say it is loading and then timesout. Also how do you download and the new amazon video app onto a stick and update the wd media player box.

WDTV Media Player was a closed source media player where apps and updating apps was done with firmware updates provided by WD … which they stopped doing after 2014. Device is discontinued and not supported anymore.
Buy a device that supports Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
An Amazon Fire Stick would most likely support it.
