i don’t get it. My older WD Live has no problem seeing and streaming movies from my Win XP Computer running through my 2Wire router. When I disconnect it and hook up my new Live Hub in the same spot it does not show up at all under Network Share. Media server works the same on both but no Network Share. I am able to move files from my pc to the hdd built in to the WD Hub but not stream movies over network share. Why would the older unit see it and the new and improved model be blind?
The most likely cause I can think of is a mismatched WORKGROUP name. The WDTV Live/Live+ doesn’t care. The Hub DOES.
