Hello all, i’m using a ASUS motherboard. recently i bought a WD Gold WD4002FYYZ, but unfortunately it only being detected by controller as SATA II, WD support was contacted, they said the gold series is not for home PC, that’s why it can’t detected SATA III…what a ■■■■■■■■, anyone can help ?

If possible test the drive on a different system. Also, try using the WD Dlg Tool to test the drive.
Thx for reply, my hard drive passed all WD DIg Tool test, even the extended one. And i’ve use another WD Red hard drive connected to my motherboard, which works perfectly on SATA III. so still no curl what is happening…
