Takes such a long time selecting music files to listen or movie files to view from the menu screen…

Try selecting music files or any files for that matter from the menu screen…and it takes about 2 seconds or more to scroll down EACH file…

Anyone have the same problem?

So frustrating I am thinking of just buying another media server/player…

Would a firmware upgrade fix this? I haven’t upgraded the firmware since I bought about 6 months ago…

Using the “previous” and “next” buttons may alleviate your problem …

which is caused by the “preview movie” feature that can not be switched off on the WEP.

I doubt (though I didn’t check) that newer firmware will provide this option.
