I purchased an external hard drive for memory expansion on my Xbox One, however my One does not recognize it. I want to know whether it is compatible with the One, or not? I’m wondering whether I received a faulty hard drive, so I know whether to return it for a refund, or exchange. thanks

As a recommendation, test the unit on a PC to see if there’s any issues with the drive.
Please note that WD have a drive that is specific to be use with Xbox consoles.
